🌊 Everybody books their boat party in July. The people who know the island book it in September — and on Saturday 5 September 2026 the Mega Boat Party sails from Sliema Ferries with an open bar, two dance floors and swim stops in open water.
☀️ Why the sea is better in September
The Mediterranean around Malta is slow to heat up and slow to cool down. It spends June, July and August absorbing sun, and it hands that heat back in early September — which is when the water is at its warmest of the entire year. The air is a few degrees softer, the deck is less crowded, and the sun sets during the cruise instead of before it.
Same boat, same open bar, better conditions. That is the whole argument.

Each batch is a fixed number of tickets. Once it is gone the next price opens, so the earlier you book the less you pay for exactly the same experience.

Arrive at 18:30, not at 19:00. The boat does not wait, and a missed departure is a missed ticket.
🎒 The September packing list
- Swimwear already on under your clothes
- Towel and a bag for it afterwards
- Sun cream — a 19:00 departure still catches real sun
- A light jacket or hoodie — the one thing August passengers never need. Once the sun goes down at sea in September, the deck gets genuinely cool.
