Most parties in Malta start when the sun is already down. On Sunday 9 August 2026 one does the opposite: Zamna On The Beach opens its gates at 15:30 at Palm Beach and finishes at midnight. If you have only ever done Paceville at 01:00, a beach party in daylight is a different experience, and it needs planning.
The timeline of a daylight party
Gates 15:30, music from 16:00, closing at 00:00. The heat peaks in the first two hours, the crowd fills out around sunset, and the strongest part of the night is the two hours after the light goes. Arriving at 22:00 as you would for a club means missing most of what you paid for.
What to bring to a beach event
- Sun cover for the first hours — there is no roof between 16:00 and 19:00.
- Something warm for later — a Maltese August night by the water still drops.
- Shoes you can stand in for eight hours, not the ones you wear to a club.
- Cash or card, and patience — bars at beach events are slower than club bars.
Transport is inside the ticket
There is a single ticket type, General Ticket with transport included, from €20. That solves the real problem with beach venues in Malta: getting back. Palm Beach is not a place to be waiting for a ride at midnight in the middle of August.
